Necessity of Learning English

English is an international language. No nation can do without English today . At present, English is very important to keep pace with the advanced and developed countries. We should learn English because we cannot expect to have a good jod without it. A foreign office connot function without English knowing people. A pilot or a stewardess, a telephone operator or a tourist guide also must know English. We do not find it easy to live abroad unless we know English. Furtheromore, without knowing English , we cannot enter directly into the store-house of knowledge. Thus the necessity of English cannot be ignored anyway. But unfortunately, in Bngladesh, English does not get its due position. As a result, Bangladesh has remained backward in education and research as well as in other spheres of life. So , we should take  all necessary steps to have a good command in English. Then we will be able to face the challenges of the modern world and to lead the nation in the international arena.
